Adding Plans to Your Products

Overview

Plans allow you to set up different pricing options for your products. You can create both one-time payment plans and recurring subscription plans. This guide will walk you through the process of adding plans to your products.

Prerequisites

  • You must have already created a product in your dashboard
  • You should be logged into your Jeev.net account
  • Navigate to the Product Management section

Steps to Add a Plan

1. Access Plan Management

  1. Go to your Product List page
  2. Find the product you want to add a plan to
  3. Click the "Plans" dropdown button
  4. Select "Add Plan" from the dropdown menu

2. Fill in Plan Details

When adding a new plan, you'll need to provide the following information:

Add Plan Form

  • Plan Name: A descriptive name for your plan
  • Plan Code: A unique identifier for the plan
  • Plan Price: The cost of the plan
  • Due Day: Number of days customers have to make the payment
  • Shipping Charge: Additional shipping costs (if applicable)
  • Billing Cycle: Choose from:
    • One Time (single payment)
    • Auto renews until cancelled
    • Expire after specified billing cycles
  • Plan Status: Active or Inactive
  • Free Trial Days: Number of free trial days (optional)
  • Setup Fee: One-time setup fee (optional)
  • Details: Additional information about the plan

3. Configure Billing Options

One-Time Payment

  • Select "One Time" under Billing Cycle
  • This is suitable for:
    • Lifetime access products
    • Single purchase items
    • One-off services

Recurring Subscription

  • Select "Auto renews until cancelled"
  • Perfect for:
    • Monthly memberships
    • Recurring services
    • Subscription-based products

4. Save Your Plan

  1. Review all entered information
  2. Click the "Save Now" button
  3. Your plan will be added to the product

Managing Existing Plans

After creating plans, you can:

  • View all plans by clicking "View Plan"
  • Edit existing plans
  • Deactivate plans when needed
  • Delete plans that are no longer required

Best Practices

  1. Clear Naming: Use descriptive names that clearly indicate what the plan offers
  2. Competitive Pricing: Research market rates before setting prices
  3. Trial Periods: Consider offering free trials for subscription plans
  4. Documentation: Keep detailed notes about what each plan includes
  5. Regular Review: Periodically review and update your plans
